| The management of Newbridge U10 wished that I pass on many thanks to Fanad Gaels on hosting a very successful U10 Blitz on Saturday past. The hospitality was excellent. We hope the ties between our two clubs continue to flourish.

| Reading site for first time.Seeing a team from Doaghbeg winning a Gaelic football competition (Din Friel)is terrific!I have many happy memories of holidays ,with my aunt and uncles, and my cousins, McAteers,when the only game they knew about was foreign!Looking forward to the day when Fanad Gaels replace the St.Eunan's of the Donegal football world!

| Could all players and any one still wanting to be a member of Gaeil Fhánada please get their signed form and money(€30 for adults, €5 for U18 and including students, to Margaretta asap as all has to be in Croke Park by end of month. Membership is very important especially as a player as it insures them on the pitch. Go raibh maith agaibh!

ODDS FOR DIN FRIEL SEVEN A SIDE:
Doaghbeg- 5/2, missing Christy Sweeney and Seimi Friel, with Michael Sweeney doubtful. Last years captain Jerry Friel may transfer to Araheera, but they still remain favourites.
Ballylar-7/2, Reached final last year,Missing Paddy Shiels though. Should make the final again.
Portsalon-6/1, Have a good squad and should mount a strong challenge. However their panel is very big,with alot of players currently not playing regular football.
Araheera-8/1, possess a couple of very strong players and have good backup also. Could be the surprise package.
Kerrykeel 12/1, Missing two excellent players in Ephrim and Davitt. Should retain the shield though.
Sessiagh-18/1 had a poor tournament last year but they have a strong panel of players. contenders for shield.
Ballyhiernan-25/1, Lacking numbers,Hughie Friel unavailable and Ruairi Friel also out.
Minors-50/1, Good young squad but their only hope would be the shield competition. Grouped with Doaghbeg and Portsalon so things wont be easy.
